The group heads to the Valley of Seers hoping to close the Gate of Lorule, but Demise traps Link and steals his Triforce piece, and uses the Triforce piece to open portals to other locations in search of the remaining two pieces. While still searching, Linkand Impa meet Sheik, a Sheikah warrior and Cia, a sorceress of the Sheikah. However, the castle is taken and Hylia is unaccounted for in the aftermath, so the Army General, Impa, asks Link to aid her in finding the queen. The Demon Lord Ghirahim, who emerged from the land of Lorule, wanting to create a portal to bring his master, Demise, to the world in order to rule it, gathered an army of monsters and together launched an attack against the people of the surface, murdering them, enslaving them and causing misfortunes in an attempt to get their hands on the power guarded by Hylia.Īs Ghirahim's forces attacked Hyrule Castle, Link, a soldier-in-training, rushed out to aid the other troops, discovering he possesses the Triforce of Courage, which had ended up with him due to his coueageus spirit. Upon touching the strange relic, only one of its three pieces was embued into her body, with the latter two seemingly vanishing. Long ago, in an ancient kingdom, the Queen of the land, Queen Hylia stumbled upon a realm containing an incredibly powerful relic known as the Triforce and took it for her own, hoping it would grant her kingdom prosperity and growth.
